System Integrations

Give AI access to the systems your business runs on.

We build MCP servers and API connections that let AI read from, and where you approve it, write to your ERP, CRM and project management systems. Your team asks a question and gets an answer from live data, not from a spreadsheet someone exported last Tuesday.

Who it's for

Operations and finance leaders whose people spend hours looking things up across systems that don't talk to each other.

  • Project managers pulling job cost, committed cost and change order status from the ERP by hand
  • Estimators hunting through past bids and vendor quotes
  • Account teams re-keying data between the CRM and the back office
  • Leaders who want to ask a plain-English question and get an answer from the system of record
  • IT teams who need every AI connection documented and permissioned

What you get

  • MCP servers

Model Context Protocol servers that expose specific, approved actions from your systems to AI. Each tool is named, documented and limited to what it needs.

  • API integrations

Direct connections to systems like Trimble Viewpoint Vista, Procore, NetSuite, Salesforce- or HubSpot-class CRMs, Monday.com and QuickBooks, depending on what each system supports.

  • Read vs. write permissions

We scope read access and write access separately, per system and per action. Many clients start read-only and add specific write actions once they trust the results.

  • Access map

A written record of every connection: what system, what data, what actions, which service account, and who approved it.

  • Testing against real records

We test against your actual data, with the people who know it, before anyone relies on the answers.

  • Handover documentation

Setup, credentials handling, logging and how to turn any connection off. Your IT team can run it without us.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Scope the access

We list the questions and tasks people need, then map each one to the specific data and actions required. Anything not on the list stays off.

  2. Step 2: Build the connection

We build the MCP server or API integration against a test or sandbox environment where one exists, using a least-privilege service account.

  3. Step 3: Validate with your team

The people who use the system every day check answers against what they know. We fix gaps before launch.

  4. Step 4: Launch and monitor

We turn it on for a pilot group, watch logs and usage, then expand. Write actions get added one at a time, with your approval.

Where it fits

Our reference architecture: for a regional contractor, we built an MCP server that connects Claude to Trimble Viewpoint Vista. It lets staff ask plain-English questions of Vista data inside permissions scoped before anything was connected. The same connection supports an equipment and fleet dashboard and bid assembly tooling.

It's the pattern we use for other ERP connections: scoped tools, a least-privilege service account and a clear line between reading data and changing it.

PMs get job cost answers straight from Vista instead of a report request.

Frequently asked questions

What is an MCP server, in plain terms?

It's a small piece of software that sits between the AI and one of your systems. It offers the AI a fixed menu of actions, like "look up job cost for job 2417," and nothing else. If an action isn't on the menu, the AI can't do it.

Can the AI change data in our ERP?

Only if you decide it should, and only for the specific actions you approve. Many connections stay read-only. When we add write access, it's action by action, often with a person confirming before anything is saved.

Our system is old or has a limited API. Can you still connect it?

Often, yes. Depending on the system, we may use its API, a reporting database, scheduled exports or a vendor-supported connector. We'll tell you in the scoping phase what's possible and what isn't worth the effort.

Which system should AI be able to see first?
